Linearity conditions for groups.

Abstract: We give conditions that guarantee that a semidirect product of groups is linear (it admits a finite dimensional linear representation) when each of the terms is linear. This is joint work with Fred Cohen, Marston Conder, Jonathan Lopez and Vassilis Metaftsis.
