Tensor products of A_\infty-algebras

Abstract: Computing the A_\infty-algebra structure on the tensor product of A_\infty-algebras requires an explicit combinatorial diagonal on the cellular chains of Stasheff's associahedra. This talk reviews the construction of such a diagonal given by S. Saneblize and myself in 2000. I will mention applications in group cohomology given recently by M. Vejdemo-Johansson.
