Sasakian manifolds and transverse geometric structures

Sasakian structures are odd-dimensional counterparts of Kahler structures. Moreover, the transverse geometry of a Sasakian manifold is Kahler. In this talk, we will review some known results about Sasakian manifolds and some connections with generalized complex structures.

We meet weekly on Thursday afternoons, with the third meeting of each month in Altoona. If you are interested in giving a talk in our seminar please contact one of the coordinators for the Fall 2007 semester: Young Choi and Aissa Wade.
