Game night organized by the Math Club. Among others, there will be a sudoku tournament. There will be pizza and drinks. Hope to see you there!

"The Mathematics of Panoramic Photography" - presentation by David Hurtubise. There will be pizza and drinks. Hope to see you there!

Wednesday, February 8, at 7 PM, in 150 Hawthorn:
The Math club is having a movie night on Wednesday, February 8, at 7 PM, featuring the life story of John Nash in "A Beautiful Mind." You are welcome to join us in 150 Hawthorn. We'll have pizza and popcorn!

Friday, December 9, at 7PM, at Holliday Bowl:
The math club is organizing a "Bowling Night" for students and faculty on Friday, December 9, at 7:00PM at Holiday Bowl. Everybody is welcome to attend!

Thursday, November 17, at 11AM, in 137 Hawthorn:
Special Guest: Perry Geib.

Mr. Perry L. Geib '02 Sci founded ATSIM, Inc., of Annapolis, Md., in 1989 to provide software modeling services to the Flight Simulation Industry. ATSIM has been instrumental in the design of dozens of simulator programs including many of today's leading-edge military programs. ATSIM's services include mathematical and software modeling of aircraft and sensor systems. ATSIM works closely with top manufacturers to deliver superior training devices to the military services and commercial airlines. Geib serves on the Executive Committee for the National Training Systems Association where he works to promote and strengthen the Flight Simulation Industry.
Mr. Geib attended the Penn State Altoona and University Park campuses before leaving college to begin a career in flight simulation. Geib's desire to earn his diploma led him back to the Math Department in the Eberly College of Science and Professor Mary McCammon, who encouraged him to complete the degree requirements and provided motivation and encouragement along the way.
