Young-Eun Choi received her Ph.D. from Stanford University in 2000 and has been at Penn State Altoona since 2006. Before coming to Penn State, she was at the University of Warwick in England for four years and two years at the University of California at Davis. Her research interests are in geometric topology and hyperbolic geometry of surfaces and 3-manifolds, in particular.
