Simona Paoli, visiting assistant professor of mathematics, earned her doctorate in mathematics from the University of Warwick. She previously served as a research fellow in the Department of Mathematics at Macquarie University, holding a postdoctoral fellowship from the Australian Research Council. She has also served as visiting assistant professor of mathematics at SUNY Buffalo. Her research interests include higher category theory, homotopy theory, and homological algebra.
