Indrani Basak has a Master of Statistics (1979) from Indian Statistical Institute, Calcutta, India with the specialization of Applied Statistics and Data Analysis. She also has a Master of Mathematics (1986) and Ph.D. in Statistics (1986) from University of Pittsburgh. She is currently Professor of Statistics. Her research interests are in the area of Survival Analysis, Robust Statistical Methods, Order Statistics and Analytic Hierarchy Process. She has published several papers related to the above topics.
