A Mathematics Degree provides you with strong portable skills that will give you a competitive edge in virtually any career. These skills include the ability to:

Penn State Altoona offers three degree programs in the mathematical sciences: a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mathematics, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Science with a Mathematics Option. There are two options available for the Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics: a General Option, and a Systems Analysis Option. A Mathematics Minor is also available. These degrees are identical to those offered by the Eberly College of Science at University Park.
